Funny Story

Okay, I have the funniest story! Christina has been having a TERRIBLE time with her allergies. She woke up with a cough and her eyes were all red. I gave her some medicine that she absolutely hates, you know the kind it takes 30 minutes to get them to finish, before her bath this morning. Michael decided he would put some allergy drops in her eyes when we got home from church. My daughter hates anything that comes near her face to make her better. It is very difficult to even get a throat swab to test for strep. You would think they were trying to give her a shot or something. I mean I realize those swabs can gag you, but this is crazy. I have to pin her down for a throat swab. Anyway, back to my story. Michael wanted to put drops in her eyes and she immediately started throwing a fit. Michael tried to distract her, but she is smarter than that. She started crying and whimpered something about how she wanted a spanking. He told her the drops would help her eyes. She got a little louder and said, "I want to go to my room!" Michael told her no. And she SCREAMS, "I want to be grounded!" HAHA I am standing in the kitchen fixing lunch and trying SO hard not to laugh out loud. All this to get a couple of drops in each eye!
