The Patch

We went to The Real Pumpkin Patch today. It was the perfect autumn day for it.

Dance

Christina started dance classes this month. We went all out and bought her new stuff for dance. She loves her class and teacher.

He is so cute. He started preschool this year in the older 2 year old class. So he is not in my room, thank goodness. He likes his class and he has some new friends.

First Grade

Well, we survived the first day of first grade. Christina was so excited this morning. She got up and put on her brand new Dora dress. Then we ate breakfast and took pictures (of course). I can't believe she is in the first grade. She is getting so big. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Peters.

She is so nice. Christina said she had a very good first day except that she had to sit out for a little while for talking. (go figure) HAHA! Anyway, it has been a great day for her and I am very proud. Oh and Eddie wanted to take a picture too. So here it is:

So we went to St. Louis last weekend. My parents and I had a conference for Quixtar. This was the view out of our window. Cool huh?


This little church was a little ways away from the Arch. It is beautiful!!!

The Old Courthouse was visible in the opposite direction from the Arch. All outside our hotel window.

Christina

Today was my babies last day of Kindergarten. She is so excited to be out for summer fun and to be a first grader. I however am sad. I picked her up from school today and she was just beaming. I noticed one of her friends was in tears. After we got in our truck Christina told me this little girl is going to a different school next year and she had cried all the way through the movie they watched today. I have to admit that I was/am a little choked up too. I gave Mrs. Reed a hug and thanked her for all she has done for Christina. She is a wonderful teacher. As we were pulling away from the school Christina told me that she will see Mrs. Reed again when school starts again. She is a strong little girl. She has her summer planned--starting with a trip to the museum tomorrow.

She is growing up so fast, and I just don't know what to think. It feels like I was just at the hospital holding her in my arms for the first time. I know that she will go far in this world and she is so smart. I can not wait to see what she will become, but at the same time I am very sad to see her grow up. She is my little princess and always will be, and I love her.
